Collection Silk Georgette Blouse (size 2) in Bohemian Red
This is a hot mess. First of all, it feels at least 2 sizes too big. The v-neck in front is really low requiring a cami. Also not a fan of all the ruffles, too much. Finally the color was too bright for me. Luckily, I tried this out before sale so I am not stuck with it.
Tabby Sweater (XS and S respectively)
The pictures don't show a very big difference. The XS if very figure flattering but to be honest, I'm not sure I want a cat sweater to show off my figure. I want it to be sort of cute and silly and cozy. It does look like the is a bit more hidden on the size small but that could just be how I put it on. Anyway, I think I prefer the small and I love both.
What do you think?
The cat sweater is adorable. I like the small better, too.
ReplyDeleteI am not feeling the kitty sweater even after seeing it in the store.
ReplyDeleteThe blouse's neckline might hit you in a better spot if you size down to 0 or 00. Let us know if you re-buy in a smaller size. I like the colour a lot.
Thanks for reviewing the blouse -- I was just hoping I'd stumble upon a review as the blouse was tempting me now that it's on sale with a 30% off. It's too bad that it's huge; I am once again sized out of J.Crew's sizes since so many of their recent tops have been boxy and large. I was concerned about the colors, too; I was drawn to the Standard Purple and considered the red one as well, but your review confirmed my fears that the red, at least, is too bright. Too bad. I thought I'd love the style. I'm more of a fan of softer, rustic or dreamy shades, and if they'd offered those as well as a decent fit, I would've gone for the blouse.
ReplyDeleteNice rad shirt, I found the same on this site Stylephotos
